OK, ok. My blog strategy never included product reviews. I did the review thing with my old blog and decided when I took this one live, it was time to hang up the product review page. Then NESCAFE Dolce Gusto came along.
It was a regular day of tweeting when I tweeted about the kids heading back to school and me back to work. I used the hashtag #needcoffee and this happened…
A couple of DMs and a few days later, a coffee pot and 3 boxes of coffee capsules showed up at my doorstep. We were surprised and super excited.
I hadn’t heard of the NSCAFE Dolce Gusto until those tweets. It’s an award winning single-serve coffee machine. We became big fans as we unwrapped the boxes and set everything up. Here’s why we love our NESCAFE Dolce Gusto.
1) Easy to Operate
It just took about 10 minutes to set-up. Pull it out of the box, run a few trial cups to clean it out and then you’re ready to try your first brew.
2) Convenient
I like that I’m cleaning out the old grinds and setting up the coffee pot anymore. You just fill the water bowl for the back and pop in a coffee capsule.
3) Fast Coffee for Our Rushed Mornings
It’s quick, easy and little clean-up needed. Exactly what we need for our busy family.
4) Size Matters
We have the Melody coffee machine. It’s smaller than our 12 cup coffee pot and fits nicely at the corner of our kitchen counter. We don’t have much space so the compact size really helps.
5) Tastes Good
It smells and tastes so good. We tried the mocha, cappuccino and chai tea latte. Yum, yum and yum! All were good. You have multiple coffee settings on the pot so you can make your coffee really strong or set it for a large cup with more water. You set the cup size.
It’s been a great way to start the day. We’re pricing out the next round of capsules compared to buying bags of coffee. It’s a different price point, but we figure we can mix and match now that we have the two systems. We have many choices between enjoying our regular coffee brew or a fancy coffee treat with Dolce Gusto.
